We met at Fluid State in Ventura when Tiffany stopped by after a double shift Saturday. Tiffany first laid eyes on Kevin when he poked his head around a corner and the two met eyes, smiling. We had a few mutual friends that worked with Kevin at Fluid and we all gathered at one of the outdoor picnic tables for post work cocktails and gossip. As the night went on the two got into conversation regarding baking and work. Tiffany asked Kevin for his number. Later the two watched the horror movie Jennifer's Body, making a connection and tradition of snuggling while enjoying on screen gore. Several coffees and cinnamon rolls later, our time together became more meaningful. We are more alike in ways than we are different. Separated for weeks at a time during moments of isolation due to quarantine only pulled us together even more. They say love always comes when you aren't looking for it, and we are an example of that. We spent our days in the sun on the beach and evenings in the kitchen, shaping baguettes, sourdough, and croissants. We connected to nature, ourselves, and each other hiking and camping in Rose Valley, a place we still find so much peace and love. We moved in together with a dear friend Zack who watched our love grow, and you will all find Zack as our officiant and Chef the day of our wedding. Kevin planned a hike to one of Tiffany's favorite meadows in the hills of Ojai where he proposed over a charcuterie board and under a tree of birds. Thank y'all for being a part of our journey and adding even more love to our lives.
