Back in 2017 Veronica was living in the Upper East Side of Manhattan and Kevin was living in the neighborhood of Canton in Baltimore. Members of the wedding party Chris and Lindsey Szoka were years into their own long distance relationship with Chris living in Canton as well, and Lindsey living in Stamford, CT. Lindsey had finally convinced Veronica to come down to Baltimore with her for a weekend with intentions of introducing Veronica to Kevin. Chris has told Kevin about Veronica prior to the weekend as well so Kevin had an idea of what was happening leaving Veronica as the only one clueless of this plan. The weekend was a success with Veronica and Kevin hitting it off and forming their own long distance relationship that resulted in biweekly Amtrak’s between Baltimore and New York.
