What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guest seating will begin at 4:30 pm! Nella Terra is located slightly off the beaten path, so please give yourself some additional time to travel. Our ceremony site is down a long staircase, and there will be transportation provided for those who need assistance.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests dress Garden Party Formal for the wedding. For women, we suggest a long dress, dressy jumpsuit, or an elegant skirt and top in lighter fabrics and colors. For men, dress pants with a collared shirt - blazers and ties optional! As a reminder for the ladies, please refrain from wearing white :) Our venue is fully outdoors, and we expect it to be quite warm in August - daytime temperatures are expected to reach highs in the 80s, but can drop significantly after sunset, into the 60s. We recommend bringing a light sweater or cardigan if you run cold.

Is there a hotel block?

For our out of town guests, we recommend staying at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Newark - Fremont, located at 39900 Balentine Dr, Newark, CA 94560 for it's proximity to our venue and affordability. Please book via whatever platform you choose - this is not an official hotel block, so if you'd like to stay elsewhere please do whatever is most convenient for your travel plans!
