Kevin and Ronni first met online in February of 2017. He messaged her with a slick "Hey girl Hey" and the rest is history!...ok not quite! At the beginning of April, they had their first date at Granite City and by the end of the month, considered it official - after she made him marathon all 8 Harry Potter movies. That's how you know you can be with someone forever - their ability to marathon movies. In 2018, they got a duplex together in Morton and in 2020 bought a house! Later in 2020, they adopted two senior dogs from Wishbone Rescue in Bloomington. Tank (a dachshund with a huge personality) and Jojo (the sweetest doggo you'll ever meet) now live in their forever home. Tank and Jojo want to extend their congratulations to their pawrents on their marriage.

September 19, 2020 - A night to remember - it was quite romantic! Earlier in the week, we had booked a "Twilight Cruise" on the Spirit of Peoria, a paddle boat that does river tours. Ours left around 7pm and in the distance, was a beautiful sunset behind the Peoria skyline. We boarded and looked for a good spot to sit and enjoy the views of the riverbanks. Eventually, we settled on the top deck in the back corner so we could see the city. Ronni, in typical fashion, almost ruined the moment. Here's how it went: Ronni: Should we go get something to drink? Kevin: Well, first, I want to ask you a question. Ronni: Is it that we should go get beers? Kevin: *gets down on one knee* Ronni: *looks over and realizes what's happening* Kevin: Will you marry me? NOW the rest is history! PS - She said yes.
