Thien and Kevin met back in high school. The first time they met, Thien was in his K-pop star phase, taking dance classes, bleaching his hair, and wearing skinny jeans. Fast forward a couple of years, Kevin went to enlist in the better branch (Marines) while Thien stayed living in his shadows. Thien enlisted in the US Army (lol). Throughout the 15 years of knowing each other, Thien has been Kevin's best friend.

Mashrooba and Teresa have known each other since high school, but didn't get close until they spent every weekend at Starbucks together during college. She is the reason Teresa has a Bachelor's degree. Mashrooba is passionate about fashion, fitness, music and bringing people together. She is smart, funny and a burst of energy (B-12 in human form). She also has the most infectious laugh. She is one of Teresa's closest and longest friends!

Jared and Kevin met during their time in the Marine Corps. Currently, Jared lives in Fort Worth, TX where he resides with his wife Myrissa. Jared enjoys long walks on the beach, wine, and charcuterie boards. He is an active participant in his book club where they enjoy reading books about Star Wars.

Myrissa and Teresa met a few years ago and they instantly clicked. Every short girl needs a tall friend (she's like a foot taller). She is the friend that is down for anything - dinner dates, TJ Maxx runs, game nights, working out, deep talks, drunken nights, etc. She is kind, loyal, dependable, and one of Churro's few favorite people. She is the definition of a real friend!

Michael and Kevin met while they were in the Marine Corps together. Michael had always envied Kevin because he was never as muscular and or handsome. Michael was always asking Kevin for gym advice, but never felt like he could be as big. Till this day, Michael strives to one day be as handsome and muscular as Kevin.

Kenny is Teresa's older brother who is basically her twin (Teresa obviously being the cuter one). People who meet them say they look alike and have the same mannerisms. They even have the same job at the same company. If you're looking for him, he will most likely be shopping in New York. He is the life of the party and the funniest person you'll ever meet. Don't introduce yourself unless you want to have an hour-long conversation about McDonald's.

Tyler and Kevin met while they were in the Marine Corps together. Due to both of them being stationed in Hawaii together, they bonded over Spam Musubis. Again, another person who was jealous of Kevin's aesthetic physique. Although they were gym partners throughout their stint in Hawaii, Tyler was always secretly trying to succeed Kevin.. But he never has.
Hali Nguyen

Hali is Kevin's little sister and only sibling. She looks exactly like Kevin, but with longer hair. She is definitely the prettier, smarter and more well-behaved sibling. Hali is super bubbly, sweet, and adventurous. She is currently a registered nurse at a children's hospial in CA. When she's not working, she's usually traveling with her boyfriend, Mason. Teresa only has brothers, so she's so excited to finally have a sister!
