To our family and friends, We are so happy you’re here to celebrate with us. Truly, the fact that all of our favorite people are together in one place for this moment means more than we can say. We cannot wait to laugh, dance, celebrate, and make memories with all of you. If there is one thing our story proves, it is that timing is everything… and apparently patience is too. When we first met, we were the right people at the wrong time. Life had other plans, but even through all the twists, turns, detours, and questionable decisions, we never fully left each other’s lives. Somehow, no matter what season we were in, we always found our way back to friendship, laughter, and showing up for one another. A big part of our story was built on Football Sundays. Kevin came into this relationship as a Titans fan, which was concerning, but we are proud to share that he has made tremendous progress and has been lovingly welcomed into Bills Mafia. Many Sundays were spent at Sharkey’s, our favorite little hole-in-the-wall spot, where we made more memories than we can count. On one of those visits, we started talking with an older gentleman at the bar. Sydney jokingly told him that Kevin had made the mistake of breaking up with her years earlier. After listening to us go back and forth, he smiled and said he could tell that one day we would find our way back to each other and get married. As it turns out, random men at Sharkey’s can be very wise. Years later, during one of our lunches together, Kevin shared that he was upgrading to Captain and planning a move closer to the American Airlines base in Charlotte. He asked Sydney to help decorate his new home. Somewhere between paint colors and pretending to be casual, it became very clear that losing each other was never really an option. Later that evening, surrounded by friends and family, we both knew this was not the end of our story. It was finally the beginning of the chapter we had been working our way toward all along. Our journey has not been the most traditional, but it has been full of growth, loyalty, laughter, second chances, and a love that never really went away. And honestly, that makes this celebration even sweeter. Thank you for being here to celebrate not just our wedding day, but everything it took to get here. Now let’s party!! With love, Sydney & Kevin
