They met through their mutual friend Chrissy, who subtly nudged them together. Of course by subtly, they mean she aggressively and lovingly made it known what a great idea it would be for them to date. Kevin was friends with Chrissy and Stephanie's brother Jason. So it was only a matter of time before their paths crossed. Kevin likes to think that there love was inevitable.

It was a beautiful day at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens during the annual Cherry Blossom Festival. It took Kevin a few weeks to build up the courage to ask Stephanie to go out with him. He may or may not have known she always wanted to go, and may or may not have used that knowledge to convince her to go with him. Luckily, Stephanie agreed.

In the spirit of his well known passion for all things Harry Potter, Kevin decided to ask her during the premier of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." Stephanie didn't exactly say yes right away. Instead she said, "It's about time," pushed him lovingly, allowed him to put the ring on her finger, and then finally said yes.
