Our first entanglement was at a bar called Mondays downtown Madison, WI. I was waiting my turn to order some drinks after this dude in a grey baseball cap (little did I know he was trouble). Once he was done ordering he sent the bartender to the opposite side of the bar. I then let him know that I was not impressed with his drink ordering skills. He quickly made up for it by giving me one of his beers. We continued the night with good conversation, lots of laughs and dancing. It soon became bar time and all good nights must come to an end. We were saying our goodbyes when Kevin put his hat on my head. I gave him a funny look. He then told me that I can hang onto the hat and I asked why in which he responded saying that was his favorite hat and it means he'll need to see me again to get it back.... and little did we know that was just the beginning..

After I wowed Steph over with my amazing charm at Mondays we decided to give dating a shot. It didn't take long until we realized we kind of liked each other and after a year and a half we became roommates, separate bedrooms of course ;-). Two and a half short years later I finally decided to get serious and ask Steph to marry me at the Mackenzie Center in Poynette WI (with some help from our good friends Nate and Kayla). Steph finally said yes after taking her time to think about the question while I waited on one knee. Two days later we were celebrating in the Virgin islands with Sam, Mollie, Jason, and Michelle. We are Looking forward to celebrating our vows with all of our friends and family on September 4th 2021.
