Shelby was spending the night over Shana and Chris's house and in the process of deleting her dating app 'Hinge' when somehow, a last minute message was received from Kevin. Shelby lovingly referred to Kevin as 'The Glitch' before they met in person as she didn't understand how his message was received on that fateful night. The night they met, Shelby asked Kevin "Where have you been?!" (...All her life) Kevin glanced at his watch to be sure he was on time, when Shelby surprised him (and herself) with a first kiss! They spent the next few weeks talking, laughing and falling in love. Shelby and Kevin have been inseparable ever since.

Knowing that Kevin would be proposing one day ;) Shelby, her mom and best friends Vanessa and Shana went dress shopping at BHLDN on a perfect fall afternoon. Shelby found her dress and was texting her friends about it in the car ride back when Shana said she needed to make a stop. Hyper fixated on her dress find, Shelby didn't think twice about Shana's need to stop at Cranberry Park in Norwalk to drop a gift off to a friends party and after not wanting to get out of the car/being scolded by her mother, she ended up underneath the most beautiful willow tree where Kevin popped the question! Shelby was shocked that they'd pulled off this incredible surprise! They celebrated at their favorite place, Consiglio's with their parents and close friends involved in the surprise. It was the BEST day!
