13th Annual Lake George Village Oktoberfest

What more could you want in the fall than apples, apple cider donuts, and apple cider?! Apple picking is a must-do activity for us in the fall!

Hicks Orchard

Come here to enjoy a wine tasting and a cheese, charcuterie, or pretzel board. The tasting room is located in Queensbury which is just a short drive from Lake George Village.

Adirondack Winery

Drive Up Prospect Mountain Via The Veterans Memorial Highway

45-minute drive to the trailheads on the northeast end of the lake

Hike to the Shelving Rock Falls

15-minute drive to trailhead from Lake George Village. It’s a challenging, but rewarding, out-and-back.
