What time should I arrive?

Answer

The Art Center is open to the public until 4 pm, so feel free to arrive any time you'd like. Please arrive no later than 4:15 pm so we can begin the ceremony on time at 4:30 pm.

Wear whatever makes you feel beautiful! Cocktail/semi-formal suggested.

How to find the ceremony?

Answer

Signs will be posted to help you find your way! Once you find the Art Center, go through the gift shop and follow the hallway to the ceremony.

Is the wedding indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors. Following the ceremony, guests will move to the outdoor patio area for cocktail hour. Guests will return indoors for the reception.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Of course! However, please be mindful of our wedding photographers and videographer as they are working!

What's the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

If you're driving or renting a car, park in one of the city parking ramps near the Civic Center. The Kahler Grand Hotel is 0.5 mile away from the venue (10 minute walk). Hotel Indigo is 0.3 mile away from the venue (6 minute walk). If you're staying further away, Uber or Lyft are other good options.

Parking?

Answer

Look for the blue Parking Logo which will direct you to available lots and ramps. All Rochester public parking ramps have marked designated accessible parking spaces available. The Civic Center Ramp is located on the west side of Civic Center Drive across the street from the Art Center and is attached by a climate-controlled skyway. The Civic Center South Lot is located across the river from the Mayo Civic Center. Civic Center flat lot is North of the building. All-day parking is available for a fee. Free Parking - Park free in any City ramp on weekdays after 5 PM and until 1 AM and weekends from 9 AM to 1 AM. Parking Meter Hours - Meters are enforced 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Meters are not enforced after 5 PM on weekdays or on Saturdays or Sundays.
