Can I rent a car in Italy?

Answer

Yes! Car rental in Italy works similarly to the US with a valid driver's license. It is recommended (but not required) to get an International driver's license (IDL). This simply translates your license into many different languages. You can get an IDL at any AAA location. You can also utilize the train system in Italy. Kevin and Rachel generally book their flights between 4-6 months in advance. However, when you choose to book is up to. Just remember that June is when the tourist season begins in Italy. This generally just means that waiting too long can lead to higher prices or less desirable flights.

How many days will traveling to Italy take?

Answer

Traveling to Italy will take 2 "days" due to the time difference. For example, if you leave the US on Friday afternoon, you'll arrive Saturday evening in Italy. When you travel back to the US, it will only take 1 "day." If you leave Italy on Friday morning, you'll arrive in the US Friday evening.
