Where should I stay?

When is hotel check-in?

Answer

Hotel check-in is at 4pm. Please plan accordingly, as the ceremony is at 3pm. If you would like to check in before the ceremony, you can call the morning of to see if that will be possible, but it is not guaranteed.

What should I wear?

Answer

Guests of the ceremony and reception are expected to dress formally. Suits, cocktail dresses, etc.

Where in Philadelphia is the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

The wedding will take place in Old City, Philadelphia, the original settlement in Philadelphia. The ceremony will take place in Philadelphia's oldest Catholic Church, Old St. Joseph's Church (est. 1733), on 321 Willows Way, nearest the intersection of 4th & Walnut St. The reception will take place 5 blocks away, at The Union Trust, originally a bank built in 1888.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Street parking is very limited in Old City and Center City. There are several parking lots & garages near the church and venue. The hotel also offered valet parking. For parking at the ceremony, avoid parking on Willings Way, as the parking on that street is dedicated to residents and violators will be towed.

Answer

For the reception, the parking lot directly next to the venue will be reserved for our guests from 5pm onwards. If you choose to park there sooner (since it is also close to the ceremony), please let the parking lot attendants know that you are a part of the 5pm wedding reservation at The Union Trust, so that they will know to keep your car there after 5pm.
