We met while working at Despicable Me in Universal Orlando Studios. We would pass each other at work but it was never more than a smile and hi. One day Kevin got a group of us from work to go see a movie. Originally we were gonna sit together but I let people go in front of me because I wanted to wait for my best friend. We ended up not sitting next to each other and I got disappointed which is when I realized that I liked him more than a friend. That same night we got to know each other more. Later that night Kevin and I kept texting each other and he ended up asking me out that night. And four years later here we are.

I honestly don't know why I took so long to propose. This girl makes me so happy. That is why I took her to Leu Gardens in Winter Park. We walked around the garden for a bit. I was really nervous. I was trying to find the perfect place. Then I realized, no matter where I am the perfect place is anywhere. As long as Odalys is by my side. So I picked a spot in the garden, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry me. And luckily she said yes. And now we get to start a whole new adventure, with her by my side.
