Nina and I had known each other since high school where we served on the fuel team together at Christ the King. I'd always had a crush on her but was feeling a pull to discern priestly life at that time, so I had no choice but to set my face like flint toward Seminary. After leaving Seminary I began to discern marriage and to consider what qualities would make for a good spouse. Upon inquiring deeper into those spousal qualities, I found that old affection for Nina beginning to burgeon and grow. At the behest of my father's wisdom and through the awareness in my own heart, I reached out to Nina, hoping to secure a first date, and perhaps many more...

Our wedding fortuitously falls on the feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (you may have noticed her on our invitation). As such we would ask you all to pray for her intercession as we prepare for marriage.
