KEVIN I went to Atlanta to pursue my master’s degree, but that turned out not to be the highlight of my time in Georgia. The real gift was meeting Naudia. What I thought would be just another message in a sea of poems and failed pick up lines became the beginning of a love story that brought us all to this moment. From our very first dinner, something clicked - we never stopped wanting to be around each other. I met a girl whose beauty was matched by her humor and her golden heart, and in that moment, I knew my search was over. The rest, as they say, is history. NAUDIA Our first date was at this little Italian restaurant - and of course, I was running late. I ran through the door out of breath, hair in my face, and then I saw him: a handsome guy in khaki pants, a button up, and a leather jacket, waiting so patiently. He stood up, we stared, and he laughed as I blurted out, “Hi, I’m Naudia,” while still trying to catch my breath. We sat for hours talking and laughing until the music stopped and the restaurant was closing around us. Not wanting the night to end, we made a dessert stop to the one & only - Jenis. We laughed some more, we talked some more & as Kevin walked me to my car, the night ended with another date on the calendar. “From then on, every date ended the same way: “Let’s do this again!” Fast forward to now - “let’s do this again” has turned into “let’s do this forever.” And like Kevin said, the rest is history.
