Emerald Bay State Park
Great hiking, great views of the waterfall, great hiking ON the waterfall, ect. About a 15 minute drive from the hotel.
Taylor Creek Visitor Center
There's a fun trail here where Kevin and I saw a BEAR! Also there's a trail to a secluded beach and amphitheater. Super fun place. You could learn a lot about the lake and the land.
My Thai & Noodle
I love Thai food and this is a REALLY good Thai restaurant. Just saying.

Heavenly Mountain Resort
In the winter Heavenly is a ski resort. It's way cooler in the summer. The gondola takes you up into the mountains to do ziplining, ziplining tours, tubing, rope courses, hiking, rock climbing, shopping and dining! Kevin and I will be spending a full day on the mountain for sure!

There are tons of shops and restaurants in downtown South Lake Tahoe (Nevada side). They're by the base of the Heavenly gondola. It's a super fun day walking around and checking everything out!

MacDuff's Pub
Cozy ski shack pub that serves the best kinds of comfort food. When Kevin and I ate here, he got a shepherd's pie and I got a chicken pot pie. Good stuff.
Tahoe City
Apparently a super fun town. Kevin and I haven't had the pleasure of going yet!
Beach Retreat & Lodge at Tahoe
Our hotel is pretty freaking sweet. You are able to rent boats, jet skis, paddle boats, kayaks, canoes- whatever- from the pier on site. There's also the beach, pool, tiki bar and hot tub. There's no shame in hanging back to relax and have some fun!
