Rose Garden
An early date location for us! We actually live near here but have only visited once! hehe. Rose season will have passed, but the park is still a beautiful place to visit and is a decently sized rose garden. There is free street parking all around the garden.
Santana Row
Outdoor mall that hosts several places to eat, shop, drink and enjoy sunny Californiana weather. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the Westfield Valley Fair indoor mall that hosts Eataly, Shake Shack, Baekjong KBBQ, lots of shopping and more! Parking is free for the first 2 hours for both malls.
Shoreline Amphitheatre/Lake
If you're like Minji and feel relieved and relaxed by the water, you'll enjoy this place! It's not a beach or the bay but one of the nearest areas to get a slight feel for something similar. The lake also has a boat house where you can rent some kayaks, pedalboats, sailboats, bicycles (you name it!) and grab some food. Can park at Shoreline Lake Park and near Rengstorff House for free.
10 Butchers Korean BBQ
South Bay (South part of the Bay Area that consists of SF and locations around it's bay) is known for its yummy Korean food in the El Camino Koreatown. We particularly recommend 10 Butchers for Korean BBQ, or even their dishes. Make sure to grab a reservation!
Zareen's
One of our area's most famous Pakistani restaurants that is women-owned. This one is a new location that we haven't tried but can't imagine it to be any less tasty! Zareen's can also get busy at times so just fyi.
Pho Ha Noi San Jose
Located very close to the church where our ceremony will be held, Pho Ha Noi is a local favorite. It's also in a mall that has several other Vietnamese restaurants and coffee (and a Paris Baguette) that we highly recommend! Free parking in the mall. Please note that the area can get crowded at times.
Lopez Taqueria 2
One of our favorite Mexican restaurant's in the area. They also have several locations around so check those out as they may be closer to you. Highly recommend their Al Pastor, Lengua, and Tripa tacos!
Dishdash/Dish N Dash
Dishdash is a nice sit-down Middle Eastern restaurant that is super yummy. We suggest getting a reservation for this one that is located in downtown Sunnyvale. The same restaurant group has also a casual restaurant, Dish N Dash, that has locations around the South Bay that is also highly recommended!
