Kevin and Melissa had their first date at Emma's Back Porch in Burlington. This was not actually Kevin's original first date plan. He suggested getting tickets to one of Melissa's favourite bands, Arkells, who happened to be playing an outdoor concert in Hamilton on June 23, 2018. Melissa politely declined the gesture and suggested a more "traditional" first date :) but has since made up for it by going to 3 Arkells concerts with Kevin during their relationship lol!

Kevin brought home Odin who happened to be wearing an engagement ring on his collar. . .and once she realized that Kevin proposed to her, she said yes! It was definitely a memorable night at their home. Melissa quickly learned to love their little buddy, Odin and Kevin quickly learned Melissa's threshold for surprises :)
