Our story began in 2015. Kevin had just returned from studying abroad in New Zealand and was excited to be back on campus for the spring semester. When he was moving into his dorm room, he noticed a group of girls at the other end of the hall. One of them, a beautiful, tall brunette caught his eye. He knew he’d found the most beautiful girl on Loyola’s campus and discovered her name was Meghan. Over the next several months, he conducted routine operations to get her attention, including wearing shorts in 30-degree weather to show off his calves and walking slowly on campus to allow her to pass him in yoga pants. After unsuccessfully trying to run into Meghan for months, Kevin was finally introduced to her by a mutual friend at a fine establishment one late Thursday evening. The two proceeded to chat about studying abroad for an hour, with Kevin pleading with her to study abroad anywhere but Ireland. She ended up going to Ireland anyways. A few days later, during finals, he mustered up the courage to ask for her number at the library, believing it to be a safe space where she could simply whisper “no” if she wasn’t interested. However, to his surprise, she obliged and the two enjoyed some fine dining at Baltimore’s finest steakhouse (Chipotle) by campus the next evening. And, as they say, the rest is history.

Kevin proposed to Meghan on a beach in South Carolina on the first night of Meghan's family vacation. He asked her to go for a sunset walk after getting back from dinner (and had to convince Meghan not to change into a t-shirt as well as uninvite Meghan's brothers on the walk - who she insisted come along). Meghan's family was waiting with champagne back at the house when the two of them returned!
