What does the QR code on the back of my save the date mean?

Answer

The QR code is intended for you to scan with your smartphone. This will prompt you to the RSVP tab of our wedding website where all information/updates will be posted. Please type in the first / last name and all the people in your party who are invited will pop up under the RSVP. Quicktip: If you do not have a smartphone or the code does not work on your end you can Text the Bride or Groom and we can do it for you! Bride: 708-822-3093 Groom: 708-269-4613

If I am not sure about my RSVP, how do I answer at this time ?

Answer

Say yes, if it is a YES or a MAYBE. Say no, if it is a definite NO. Formal wedding invitations will follow. For planning purposes, the save the date is intended to get an idea of who thinks they might be coming to our destination wedding.

What is the deadline for a firm commitment for your attendance?

Answer

Formal invites will be mailed. At THAT time there will be a send back response that will be your final commitment to the wedding. This final deadline for your RSVP will be December 22nd, 2022.

How do I get there?

Answer

By plane, nonstop. Use any airline you wish to get there. Quick Tip: Southwest Airlines has direct non-stop flights from Chicago Midway (MDW) to Sarasota/Bradenton (SRQ) Airport. You can also check other airlines at O'Hare (ORD) for nonstop flights. The Sarasota airport is 16 minutes from the Resort. There are car rentals on the airport premises, or guest can call an Uber or Cab from aiport.

Is there FREE parking at the Lido Key Resort?

Answer

Yes, parking is free for those attending the wedding.

Do I have to stay at the Lido Key Beach Resort?

Answer

Guests can stay at Lido Key and those interested to stay will be given a social code that will be provided on this website. The code will be available 365 days prior to the wedding (on/after 2/25/2022). You can also choose any other hotel or other stay accommodations. Quick Tip: There are Holiday Inn nearby the Lido Key Resort.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire; but we will be on the beach for the ceremony (weather-permitting).

What time will the wedding start?

Saturday, February 25, 2023 beginning at Sunset (approx 5:30 PM) All this information will be confirmed at a later date.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Anyone who is 18 and older are allowed to attend the reception.

What if I have an allergy to shellfish, etc.?

Answer

Please contact the bride and groom at least three weeks before the wedding date if you have an allergy so the venue can cater to your needs!

Question

What will happen if there is raining on the day of the wedding?

Answer

If weather is going to be bad, the bride will make the final last weather call the day of the wedding. This will mean the ceremony will no longer be on the beach and will be indoor. Check back at the front desk of resort on the day of for relocation information. This will be decided by 12p on wedding day!
