We met in 2019 on a dating website — completely by chance. At the time, we were nearly 500 miles apart, so realistically, there was no reason our paths should have crossed. But somehow, they did. Our first real spark came during one of our early conversations when we bonded over our shared love of chicken tenders and ranch. It was simple, funny, and unexpectedly meaningful — one of those moments where you just click. We knew it was real the very first day we met in person. From that moment on, everything felt natural and right. One of our most meaningful memories together was our first official date, where it became clear that what we had was something special and worth choosing every day. Kevin’s proposal came as a complete surprise in Las Vegas at Vanderpump à Paris. We ordered a signature cocktail that arrived under a glass pyramid filled with smoke. As the smoke cleared, the ring was there — though Matt didn’t see it at first. When Kevin pulled it out and asked Matt to marry him, Matt turned the brightest shade of red, and of course, said yes. As we prepare for our wedding, we’re feeling both excited and a little nervous — but we’re embracing every challenge along the way. Each one has only made us stronger, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people we love most.
