Where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding venue, Spring Hill Barn, is located about 10 minutes northwest of downtown Staunton, Virginia. It is a beautifully updated barn setting with amazing views and both indoor and outdoor amenities. Parking is located in a field adjacent to the barn, but shuttle service will be available.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Fall in the Shenandoah Valley is a beautiful time! September is usually cooling off from the hot summer months and provides us a comfortable mix of mild, sunny days and crisp fall nights. Unfortunately, the fall foliage colors will not emerge until well into October.

What can I expect during the reception?

Answer

There will be a full bar and charcuterie available throughout the entire event. After the ceremony, guests will enjoy a full buffet meal and desserts, and we will celebrate together with dancing, karaoke, a photo booth, and outdoor activities!

The charcuterie table will be available at all times and will include: -Deli Meats -Cube Cheeses -Soft Cheeses and Spreads -Fresh Fruit -Crackers and Breads The main buffet will be available after the ceremony and will include: -Pasta -Griffin Family Homemade Spaghetti Sauce -Cheese Sauces -Italian Sausage and Meatballs -Polenta (Vegetarian) -Pasta Salad -Garden Salad with Super Toppings -Cucumber, Tomato, & Feta Salad -Watermelon, Feta, & Mint Salad

How did Kevin and Mary Ann meet?

Answer

Mary Ann and her mom bought a house in Staunton in the summer of 2022. That house just so happened to be right next door to Kevin! They quickly hit it off and realized they shared a love of music and creativity. They began playing music together and even started a business! They were dating within a month, engaged in a year, and excited to spend the rest of their lives together!

Question

Will there be a sober ride for me to my hotel or lodging from the wedding?

Answer

Yes! There will be a driver (for a fee) available to take you from the wedding venue to your hotel within 15 miles of Staunton. It is safe to leave your car at the venue and retrieve it the next day.
