Check out the Cherry Creek area, where there are many activities, including the Denver Zoo and the Botanical Gardens. Pop into one of many coffee shops, restaurants, and the shopping district nearby. Try a burger at the local gem, The Cherry Cricket!
A premier museum that features exhibitions such as "Prehistoric Journey" with life-sized dinosaur skeletons, " Space Odyssey and Planetarium", Gems and Minerals, and many traveling exhibitions from LEGO, Mythbusters, and Expedition Health.
Downtown Denver is a vibrant, walkable, and historic urban city located at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Some of our favorite spots include the mile-long, pedestrian only 16th Street Mall, exploring new outdoor gear at the REI flagship store, grabbing a coffee at Metropolis, getting lunch at the food hall Milk Market, and walking through historic LoDo (Lower Downtown) to get a drink at Union Station. The mile-high city has much to offer and even has an official "One Mile Above Sea Level" marker at the Capitol.
A must when visiting Denver - outdoor auditorium nestled in the famous red rocks. Popular location for workouts, yoga, photography and lots of hiking trails surround the area. Gregory Alan Isakov will also be playing there Sept. 6 and 7 if you want to catch a show! Consider a short hop to Golden to check out the Coors Brewery for a tap house tour and a beautiful walk down Clear Creek among many local restaurants!
A great local brewery with outdoor patio area and yummy food trucks! Next to Osage Park and Thaden Field where you can watch planes land or see a beaver building it's dam.
Delicious, award winning coffee and cool, modern atmosphere. Great place to hang out and check out downtown Rogers. Onyx is one of the premiere coffee stops in NWA and has other locations in Bentonville, Springdale, and Fayetteville.
Although they have expanded to a new location since our first date, Pedaler's Pub will always be special to us. They have delicious wood fired pizza, pub games like pool and darts, and sits only a few blocks from downtown Bentonville. Check it out when coming back from the Walmart Museum!
