We were introduced to one another in 2006, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, when Kevin was looking to get his first tattoo. The moment we met, we knew it was something special. After many years apart, we found each other again and realized we were meant to be. Like our lives, our wedding is non traditional from start to finish. Kevin proposed during a Dungeons and Dragons game night with our children. He had worked it into the game to where Kimberly would find a magical chest with the ring inside. He even went as far as to build the chest as a prop. Since our reconnection, we have built a home and a family in our rural and simple homestead.
