We were neighbors for about 8 years but barely knew of each other. We went to the same elementary and high school, but we were complete opposites — different friends, interests, and personalities. We started connecting in high school. One of our favorite memories is when we shared our first laugh together. We had just got off the bus from school when Kieurstyn screamed after spotting a dead frog on the road. Kevin freaked out and was checked on me! Then in December 2019, Kevin reached out to Kieurstyn — and that simple message started something neither of us expected. We took out time to get to know one another and we both knew that we wanted this to continue for our lifetime!
