We’re getting married!

As most of you know, Kevin and I met through my brother Tyler about 9 years ago! Instantly Kevin and I clicked and became attached at the hip quickly. We were the best of friends and did seemingly everything together. Kevin and I created a bond that neither him, I, or anyone else could deny. As Kev has always been a “dive in head first and think about it later” kind of guy, I was the total opposite and extremely guarded and reserved. We pondered the status of our relationship and remained friends as we navigated the stages of our lives. No matter who, what, or when, Kevin and I always found our way back to each other and continued to be a huge constant in each other’s lives. Whatever we had between us was not going anywhere and we both agreed we knew it would happen for us and when it did, that would be it! We could not have been more accurate! Together Kevin and I have created a life we love against all obstacles we have faced. Kevin and Karter have both welcomed me as their family without hesitation and made it easy for me to know this is where I would spend the rest of my life. On May 29, 2022 Kevin proposed in the most perfect way. He started the morning by bringing us to breakfast at Mirbeau and told me prior he had a surprise for an early birthday present for me. My surprise was a photo shoot with my friend Savannah and she didn’t have availability near my birthday so this was the best he could do! When we got there she did a few pictures of us and then looked at Kevin and said “okay you’re good”. She had me turn around for a different pose and he was down on his knee and all of our family had walked up behind him! Kevin made our proposal perfect and so special. We are so excited for our future and can’t wait for all of our loved ones to be with us on our special day!
