Travel
We are getting married in Colorado!
Our venue is Loveland Valley Ski Area (not to be confused with the city of Loveland, CO), located up in the mountains just off of Interstate 70.
Flying:
The nearest large airport is Denver (DEN), which is a 1.5 hour drive from the venue. We would recommend renting a car or carpooling with other guests to get up to the mountains if you are flying in.
Accommodations:
There are no accommodations at the ski area. Closest options for lodging are the town of Silverthorne (15 minutes west on I-70) or Georgetown (15 minutes east on I-70). Kate and Kevin will be staying in Georgetown, which is closest to the welcome event on Friday.
Day of transportation:
There will be a shuttle picking up at the Georgetown visitor center near I-70 (1491 Argentine St). Shuttles will leave around 3:00 and 3:15.
