Charlottesville airport (CHO) is a 20 minute drive from Boar's Head Resort. Richmond International Airport (RIC) is about an hour and a half drive from Charlottesville. Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) are both about a two hour drive from Charlottesville. For those traveling from Chicago, there is a direct flight from ORD to Charlottesville (CHO).

The Amtrak Station is centrally located in downtown Charlottesville and trains run to/from Washington, DC four times per day.
