Our Bridal Party People

Meet the friends and family who are going to be standing with us on the big day, who have walked with us through the ups and downs of life, and who we'll count on after the wedding to keep us accountable to each other.

Tiffany Bickford

Maid of Honor

We met my senior year of college on a ridiculous night out with a mutual friend involving caves, dresses, and knowing a camp out was a bad idea. To say the least, we became instant friends that night. Our friendship has been marked by laughter, deep conversations of God, and growing through life through similar stages. She’s been a consistent friend through the years, even when she was living in Africa as a missionary and I was in Spain studying abroad last year. She was the first west coast friend to fly to Pennsylvania to meet my family, and of course when I suggested a cruise trip, she was all in. I guess I owe it to her joy of life in jumping into “whatever” with me that Kevin and I even met that week- without her, I wouldn’t have gone on the cruise and met my man.

Alison Mendoza

Bridesmaid

Al and I met in college in a “Westmont in Mexico” study abroad program, but it was two summers later that our friendship really blossomed. We worked at the Westmont pool as lifeguards and it was during those hot, sunny days we found out we have a lot in common— a love for swimming and yoga, thinking big, and processing life deeply. I LOVE my conversations with Alison. She’s real and raw, and brings a sarcastic humor to everything. Any time I’ve visited Santa Barbara over the years, she’s been the first to open her door and give me a place to stay, and is always down for 5:00 AM ocean swims. I always appreciate her perspective on life, culture, and God and come away refreshed after talking.

Monique Smaby

Bridesmaid

A solid friend always ready to discuss business trends and what God is teaching us about career moves. We met in college in the midst of Communication classes and this eventually led to us going to the beach and dancing down town. I’ve told Monique she has the spiritual gift of hospitality, inviting me to her family’s home in Ventura a few times in college, laying out a spread of food and drinks every time. Eventually she moved to D.C. and her door was always open for a visit! She’s the first to recommend a new business book or podcast, and is ALWAYS happy for anything positive in my life whether it’s a new job or now Kevin! I look up to her in so many ways, she’s classy, creative, and inspiring from the new drinks that she makes, to the gifted way she runs her Etsy business.

Lydia Zajackowski

Bridesmaid

We met graduation weekend, which taught me it’s never too late to make a college friend. We were a part of a handful of students that each had a class to finish to be “official.” A week after graduating, I was sitting in a nearly empty library in the corner, and she bounced up to me just as if we were in elementary school saying, “Hi! So, I think you’re really cool and a good influence on me, can we be friends?” Sweet and bubbly, she's also one of the hardest workers I know. The summer after graduating, she took up multiple jobs, pushed herself through grad school, and has moved to multiple cities by herself to make it happen. From concert tickets, to random gifts, she’s one of the most generous people, and is the first to ask about “Mr. Kingston” since Kevin and I started to date.

STEFAN JACKSON

Best Man

Stefan is one of my younger brothers who I love dearly and have a strong bond with. I often call him my "Little Big Brother" as he is a very intelligent person with knowledge in various areas of life. He is the type of person that can have a conversation about anything and the last person to judge, I can be myself at all times he understands me and is very supportive. Fitting for him being my BEST MAN

MARLON JACKSON

Groomsman

My Oldest brother who often steps in as a Father figure. We played the same sports in College/University for Rival Universities, FUN TIMES. Having a protective BIG BROTHER like Marlon meant I could always "call my big brother" if messed with. We share a strong bond to this day and makes him a perfect candidate for my Groomsman...... Plus I was a Groomsman in his Wedding.

RICARDO DYSTANT

Groomsman

Friends since the first day of High School. We were both on the Tennis Team but despite him not making the Soccer or Hockey Teams, we still could not be separated and after long evenings of training we would both get picked up by Ricardo's Grandpa (R.I.P) or his Mother where we spent evenings at her office. I was honoured being his Best Man and feel my party of Groomsmen could not be complete without him,
