Kevin and Jagger met the way all great love stories begin: in high school. She was a freshman. He was a junior. A mutual friend introduced them, and Kevin confidently claimed they already had a class together. Jagger had no idea — but once she spotted him, she made sure to sit next to him every chance she got. They quickly became best friends. He was crushing on her friend. She was trying (and failing) not to fall head-over-heels for him. For years, she told herself it would never happen. He graduated. They drifted. He made the occasional drunk summer call. And she tried very hard not to overanalyze it. Fast forward to her senior year. He was in college at CSU San Marcos, and they hadn’t talked in over a year — until one fateful night at an Angels game. Jagger ended up on the Jumbotron (as one does), and moments later, she got a text: “Are you at the game?” — Kevin Lutynski. Cue the butterflies. From that night on, they picked up right where they left off. Kevin started showing up at her work and halftime shows (always with his trusty sidekick Anthony Gallo for moral support), and after months of her not-so-subtle hints, she finally asked him out. He officially asked her to be his girlfriend on May 13, 2017. He proposed on October 26, 2024. And yes — all throughout high school, Jagger used to call him her “future husband” as a joke.
