After eight long years of waiting I finally said yes! We went to the beach for a one year anniversary trip. He took me to dinner at a restaurant that overlooks the beach. We ate. It started pouring rain. He drove all the way down the crystal coast until the rain stopped. We ended up in Pine Knoll Shores. We danced to “You’re Still The One” and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him while “Forever After All” played. Of course I said yes ❤️
