LUCKY TO BE IN LOVE

They were on the infamous dating app 'Tinder' and happened to come across one another in late July 2014. After a couple weeks of texting back and forth, they decided to meet at a local spot, Dunedin Brewery. It wasn’t long after that when they realized they had similar interests, goals, outlooks on life, and ultimately, a desire to spend as much time as possible with one another. So they proceeded to do so and have been inseparable ever since!

It was a Thursday - April 27, 2017 - and for the first time in a long time, Kevin and Hien had a week day off together. They spent the morning lounging around, before heading out to each get a massage. Afterwards, they spent a few minutes debating whether or not they wanted to head to a nearby golf driving range, but they came to the conclusion they were too hungry and chose to go grab lunch instead. Guess where - yep, Dunedin Brewery! At this point, Kevin had the ring in his pocket and could definitely feel the nerves starting to kick in, as they made their way to the restaurant. While Hien was on the phone with her mom, Kevin sent a secret text to a photographer friend - it was in that moment Kevin decided TODAY WAS THE DAY! They spent over an hour drinking, eating, and enjoying their time together, all while Hien had no clue what was to come. Shortly before leaving, they decided to buy t-shirts and a canned to-go beer (as a keepsake). Once the waitress dropped off the bag of merchandise, they headed out the door. Per usual, Hien was quite a few steps ahead of Kevin, but he was able to stop and catch her attention by "dropping" a coaster he claimed was given to them for free from the brewery. As Hien bent over to pick up the coaster, the photographer that Kevin hired got set up to capture the moments of surprise ahead of them. The front read "Dunedin Brewery" with their logo, then she flipped it over and saw "Hien, will you spend the rest of your life with me?" in a heart shaped design. While she was reading, Kevin got down on one knee and confessed his desire to spend forever together. I'm sure you can picture the rest of what occurred! (They'll save the stories about the random gentleman outside who proceeded to interrupt their moment for later).
