Kevin & Gracia first met in Melbourne back in 2012 where they both pursued their studies in Trinity College. Being introduced by a friend, it was love at first sight for Kevin and he immediately fell head over heels for Gracia. It wasn't a smooth sailing road for Kevin trying to win Gracia's heart as his multiple attempts of asking her out to be his girlfriend came to no avail. He tried and tried, from bringing his friends over to her apartment, to going all the way to Medan, yet none of those moved Gracia. But surely one thing that impressed her was his perseverence. Despite three failed attempt, he never gave up. After a year of constant effort in proving how serious he is, Gracia finally said yes (to becoming his girlfriend)

It was cold and windy morning of the 16th December 2019. Kevin brought Gracia to DUMBO for a couple photoshoot. While they were walking on Washington St, Kevin and Gracia were mesmerized by the beauty of Manhattan Bridge. Surrounded by the restored century-old buildings with Merlot-colored bricks, Kevin thought this might be the perfect moment to propose her! However, Kevin and Gracia had to wait to take their photos as the spot was already crowded by hungry tourists. As they waited for their turn, Kevin retrieved the proposal ring box in his backpack while Gracia looked away. He was ridiculously nervous and sweating. Until the time came for their photo taken. Crowds were looking at them impatiently because they took far too many pictures, Kevin plucked up the courage to kneel and take out the ring. The crowd cheered, Gracia blushed, then the ring worn.
