Question

Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! If you are staying at the Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, there are complimentary shuttles that will bring you between the Inn and the venue throughout the event. For other hotels, please see details below: Pick-Up Times on 5/20: 3:30 pm and 3:45 pm ET - Hilton Garden Inn 3:45 pm ET - Holiday Inn 4:00 pm ET - Best Western *Note to our guests: Please be outside of your hotel at least 10-minutes before the shuttles arrive to ensure you board on time. The shuttles will only be making one loop. Drop-off Times on 5/20: All shuttles will be leaving the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club at 10:30 pm ET to drop-off at the Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn, and Best Western. If you plan on attending the after party at the Jetty Dock Bar, please board the shuttle and get-off at the Hilton Garden Inn. The Jetty Dock Bar is right next door.

Will transportation be provided to the after party?

Answer

Yes! The after party at the Jetty Dock Bar is located just steps away from the Hilton Garden Inn and the Best Western. At the conclusion of the wedding, please take the shuttles back to either of those hotels and walk over to the Jetty Dock Bar for some late night fun.

When should I book accommodations?

Answer

Please book your accommodations as soon as possible! Our wedding date is on the edge of summer, so Kent Island gets very busy around this time of year. See the "Travel and Lodging" tab for more information.

Are the ceremony and reception being held at the same location?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception will both be held at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.

Can I bring children?

Answer

Yes, we welcome you to bring your children along to celebrate. We ask that there are no children at the after party, however.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code will be cocktail attire. Suits and cocktail dresses are perfect!
