✈️ Travel & Visa Guide for Fola & Kevin’s Wedding Many of our friends and family traveling from North America and Europe may need a visa to visit Nigeria, and it means a lot that you’re doing this so you can celebrate with us. For Our wedding, we recommend the 30-day Tourist E-visa. It’s fully online, approval in~ 1 week, and the requirements are simple. A Gentle Note This timeline is our recommendation, however, please book flights when the price feels right for you. The Nigerian e‑Visa lets you enter within 90 days of approval and stay for 30 days, so timing your application is important. Our Recommended Timeline 1. Book your flight (Late Aug–Mid Sept) You’ll need your flight itinerary for the visa application. This window keeps your travel dates safely inside the 90‑day entry period and helps avoid the November holiday price surge. 2. Book your accommodation (Late Aug–Mid Sept) Accommodation is required for the visa application, so it’s best to book it right after your flight. Apply for your e‑Visa (Sept 20–Oct 7) How to apply: - Go to: https://evisa.immigration.gov.ng/ - Select Sign in - Create an account either by signing in using a google account or sign in up using OpenID - Choose Short Visit Visa (e‑Visa) – Tourism Visa - Upload documents - Pay the $160 fee - Check your email regularly for approval letter (within 1 week) Documents Needed - A passport with 6+ months validity and at least 2 blank pages - Digital passport photo - Recent bank statement - Flight itinerary - Proof of accommodation Take your time filling out the application — accuracy matters 4.
