Please RSVP by Friday, June 12th
The ceremony will start at 11 am MST, so we recommend arriving around 10:30 - 10:45 am MST.
We will specify on your invite if you have a plus one.
For the ceremony itself, plan on wearing your Sunday best, semi-formal, and formal attire. For our reception at Bear Creek Lake Park, feel free to change into your casual/comfortable clothes and enjoy some volleyball, dancing, food, and outdoor party games. There are plenty of bathrooms at the church, so feel free to change there after the ceremony before heading to the reception, or change back at your hotel/Airbnb on your way over to the reception.
No, there will not be a shuttle taking guests from the ceremony to the reception, so we recommend either carpooling with a few other guests, or taking an Uber or Lyft over to the reception.
After the wedding ceremony, which should be around 30 minutes to an hour, the reception will start around 2 pm MST and go until 9 pm MST. Feel free to stick around for the entire reception, come and go as you please!
Yes! We will have some appetizers/cocktails available starting at 2 pm MST while Erika and Kevin finish up photos, and we will start serving pizza from Mischief Pizza (locally owned) once they return. While there will be alcohol provided, we encourage locals to BYOB as well to ensure everyone can drink to their heart's desire. Keep in mind that no glass is allowed in the park, so keep alcohol to cans/plastic containers only.
Yes, we will have our very own bartender available during the reception to serve alcohol to guests. Once she leaves, feel free to grab your own drinks from the coolers at the venue.
Yes! We highly recommend carpooling to the reception if you can. In order to keep costs low to enter the park (normally it is $15 a car to enter the park), we ask that you find a senior (if possible) to enter the park with, since seniors receive a discounted price as long as there is one person in the car that fits this criteria. The cost is $5 with a senior. If you already have a Bear Creek Lake Park pass, entry is already free!
Yes! All guests must check in with the park attendant when entering Bear Creek Lake Park. When you get to the park entry building tell them you are going to Erika & Kevin's Wedding Reception, and they will let you in after you pay. They will have signage for where to go within the park to get to Coyote Crossing Shelter.
Yes! There is a parking lot located next to the shelter where you can park your car.
Occasionally, in the summer, there will be a long line of cars trying to enter the park at the same time. If this happens and the park starts turning people away, stay in line and tell the attendant at the park entrance that you are here for Erika & Kevin's wedding reception and they will still let you in even if others are turned away.
Yes, you can leave and come back to the park during the reception without paying again.
