FAQs

Question

Is this a wedding or a vow renewal?

Answer

Both! We’re finally having the celebration we didn’t get the first time. Think of it as a wedding with grown-up upgrades — all the joy, none of the budget stress from back then.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

During the ceremony — NOPE. Our professional photographer will capture every magical moment, and we don’t want phones or cameras in the way. During the reception? Absolutely! Snap away, dance, toast, and tag your photos — we love seeing the celebration through your eyes.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Dressy-casual to cocktail attire — whatever makes you feel fabulous and ready to celebrate. Bonus points for shoes you can dance in!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Please check your invitation. We’ve listed the number of guests included for each invite. Thanks for understanding!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Only the kids listed on your invitation are invited. We love your little ones, but this is an adults-focused celebration.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Plenty of on-site parking. Some is paved (mostly for handicap access), but most spots are gravel or grass — comfy shoes for a short walk are recommended.

Question

Will food be provided?

Answer

Oh yes… kind of. There’s a fun surprise in store! In true Tatum fashion, we couldn’t agree on one thing, so get ready for a little variety — it’s part of the fun.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 6pm. And remember: early is on time, on time is late. Denise will be waiting, probably tapping her foot, so don’t miss the opening scene. Plan to arrive 15–20 minutes early to snag a good seat and settle in.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Nearby hotels are just 10–15 minutes away in Braselton and Winder. Options include La Quinta Inn & Suites, Country Inn & Suites, Baymont, and Best Western. Airbnb/VRBO rentals around Auburn are also great options. Book early to snag your spot! Websites and info for a few are included on the travel tab.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

The ceremony area is covered, so no umbrellas needed while you’re seated — unless you want to dash to the reception building. Either way, the celebration goes on, rain or shine!
