Mike is Kevin's younger brother and proud Atlanta resident, where he lives with his senior rescue dog, Freyja. He's happiest behind the camera, writing and directing films, including his most recent short, Under the Purple Water, which was featured in the 2026 Atlanta Film Festival. When he's not making movies, you'll find him jogging through the city, hanging with friends, or convincing himself this is the year he finally gets back into yoga. A lifelong movie buff with an uncanny memory for film trivia, Mike can tell you the release year of any movie made after 1980 before you finish saying the title. As Best Man and Officiant, his quick wit and dry sense of humor make him uniquely qualified to make everyone laugh while helping Deana and Kevin tie the knot.
Anna Rogers Nourse
Matron of Honor
Anna is Deana’s younger sister. She lives in Greenville, South Carolina, with her husband, Andy, along with their two boys, AJ and Austin, and their golden retriever, Riley. A golfer at heart and a sports mom by trade, Anna is happiest when she’s on the course, cheering from the sidelines, or surrounded by her favorite people. Weekends are best spent with friends and family—and preferably with a cocktail (or two!) in hand. She’s always up for a good time, a little friendly competition, and making memories with the people she loves most. And once the music starts, don’t expect her to sit still—you can be sure to find Anna on the dance floor later in the reception, cocktail in hand and ready to keep the party going!
AJ Nourse

AJ is Deana’s 10-year-old nephew and basically Anna’s mini-me — personality and all. He’s dinosaur-obsessed, a LEGO-building mastermind, and so smart that he’s earned himself the nickname “Actually Factually.” Why? Because if you get a fact wrong — or even slightly questionable — don’t worry, AJ will be there to correct you, usually with an interesting tidbit you definitely didn’t know you needed. Give him a pile of LEGO bricks and he’ll have a masterpiece built before the rest of us have figured out which bag to open. But underneath all that brainpower and fact-checking is the sweetest heart. AJ is incredibly kind, endlessly curious, and just an all-around great kid. Deana loves him to pieces and couldn’t be prouder to be his aunt — even if she knows better than to argue with him about dinosaurs.
Austin Nourse
Ring Bearer
Austin is 7 going on 17—independent, clever, and somehow good at every sport he tries. He loves soccer, golf, and fishing, and gets himself dressed and ready every morning like he’s got places to be and people to see. He and Kevin have become quite the duo, whether they’re grilling together or hitting the golf course—where Austin has even been known to request Kevin’s services as his personal caddy. Apparently being Uncle Kevin comes with job duties. He’s smart, quick-witted, athletic, and very serious about being one of the big kids. But thankfully, he’s still sweet enough to curl up and cuddle with his Aunt DD every now and then—and she plans to hold onto that privilege for as long as he’ll allow it.
Stevie
Good girl
Stevie is Deana’s best friend, golden girl, professional ball chaser, and Director of Household Security—a position she appointed herself to and takes very seriously. Her favorite things include long sniff walks, extra treats, following Deana absolutely everywhere, and taking up an unreasonable amount of space in the bed. Stevie has also been part of this love story from the very beginning. Kevin was introduced to her on his second date with Deana, which was less of an introduction and more of an interview. Fortunately, he passed the Stevie test and was permitted to stick around. Sweet as can be but fiercely protective of her people, Stevie keeps a close eye on everything happening in her household. She’ll dance for treats, play ball for as long as someone is willing to throw it, and firmly believes that personal space is unnecessary when you have a golden retriever. Equal parts best friend, bodyguard, spoiled princess, and very good girl, Stevie runs a tight ship—and honestly, we’re all just lucky to live in her house.
