We met while serving in the military in Florida—two strangers crossing paths during a busy chapter of life. From the beginning, one of us (ahem, her) asked a thousand questions, just trying to get to know the quiet, handsome guy who barely said a word back. One night, a group of friends planned to go dancing. The only reason we said yes? We both knew the other was going. That night didn’t end in fireworks, but it sparked a friendship filled with laughs, late-night chats, and a slow build of something special. Everything changed the day he mentioned he was getting a puppy. Enter crazy Athena—our first furbaby, and the REAL matchmaker of this love story. From the moment he brought her to meet me on day one, I declared, “I’m her mom.” Co-parenting quickly turned into spending more time together…and, well, it didn’t take long for him to fall in love with how funny, amazing, and slightly irresistible I am (his words… probably). Since then, we’ve navigated life’s big transitions side by side—leaving the military, buying our first home, and adopting our second furbaby, Zeus. Now we’re planting roots in Florida, (where he grew up) building a life full of love, loyalty, and so much laughter.
