I had the pleasure of working five summers for the Nephew and Benser families between the Chippewa Hotel Waterfront and the Lilac Tree Suites. Kevin and I created a little tradition during that time, and at the end of each season, we enjoy a relaxing night in a lake view suite at the Chip. We would like to pass this experience on to you! Our Chippewa Hotel family has offered a very generous discount to all of our guests! Choose either a Main Street Room / Suite or a Lake view Suite - all options are wonderful and comfortable. Enjoy your stay at one of our favorite places! Note: The Chippewa is a perfect location for our guests - very close to both the ceremony and the reception, almost right in the middle of the two! Located in the heart of downtown Mackinac Island, close to Doud's Market, boat docks, and restaurants.

An all-suite hotel and the Chippewa's sister hotel! Choose from quiet interior suites or street side suites. Their wonderful spa is located on the lower level and has all sorts of great services to offer!

Shepler's Ferry

A necessary form of transportation to the island! Make sure to contact Shepler's prior to your arrival for ticket discounts - make sure to mention our wedding! Kevin&Dani2020 Star Line is also another option if you need it! Both ferry companies have departures in both Mackinaw City and St. Ignace, up to you if you would like to cross the Mighty Mac or not!
