Dressy Casual style appropriate for an outdoor wedding. The weather gets warm in Newhall, CA. However, you may want a sweater for the early AM. Please see the encouraged color palette posted within our Gallery page. *Ladies - Thin heels are highly discouraged*

Navigate to the following location/address: Placerita Canyon Nature Center / 19152 Placerita Canyon Rd, Newhall, CA 91321 . Turn into the venue from Placerita Canyon Road. Take the first right and follow the signage into the Acorn Amphitheater parking lot. From the parking lot, cross the small bridge to arrive at the Acorn Amphitheater. Enjoy unlimited Espresso, Lattes, or Hot Chocolate of your choice to warm up/wake up just prior to the start of the Ceremony! *In the parking lot, please keep an eye out for reserved parking spaces. We kindly ask for you not to occupy them, as they will be reserved for the Bride and Caterers.*

Our venue is secluded in Placerita Canyon. Cell phone reception may be spotty. Please screenshot, write down the directions, or pre-save your Google map of this area from the freeway exit and beyond. Fortunately, Placerita Canyon Nature Center is clearly marked from the main road and should be easy to find from there.

We kindly request that all phones and cameras are put away and silenced during the Wedding Ceremony. We invite you to relax and be fully present during these special moments. Please be reassured that we have hired professional photographers and videographers to capture the entire event. Professional videos (including a video of the entire ceremony) and photos will be made available to our guests after the wedding. For the Reception, we invite guests to take plenty of photos / videos, as we want to experience our wedding through your eyes. These can be uploaded to our digital guest book on the day of the wedding.

There are 2 vault toilets/outhouses located in the Acorn Amphitheater parking lot. However, we highly encourage guests to walk up to the nature center, where you may enjoy much nicer bathrooms with full plumbing.

Please do not miss out on some of the following favorited Placerita Canyon Nature Center experiences! -Tons of Hiking -Walker Cabin: Where over 300 movies have been filmed -Visit Agent the hawk, Violet the skunk, a shy turkey vulture, a mischievous snowy owl, a sunbathing land tortoise, and the mysterious barn owl. -Gift Shop (Children attendees get gift cards from the bride and groom). -Bird watching station (Viewfinders located at Nature Center near the Gift Shop). -Hummingbird Garden (Pro tip: Be quiet as you walk up the path to this location and you will see many Hummingbirds here). -Butterfly Garden (Children: Try to find tadpoles, fire red dragon flies, and a few leep pads on the water).
