Travel Note
First off, if you’re reading this section, THANK YOU for traveling to celebrate our wedding with us! It’s you, our dear friends and family, that will make July 12th so special to us. We are aware of the costs and sacrifices made to be here with us and we are so grateful! Santa Barbara does have a tiny airport but flights are very limited, and are rather pricey. Most often these flight will be connections from of LAX, SFO, SJC or OAK. If you choose to fly into San Jose (SJC), car travel time to Santa Barbara is approximately 3.5-4 hours (depending on traffic, and how many points your driver already has on their driver’s license). San Francisco (SFO) is further north than San Jose and would add an additional 1-2 hours (again, depending on traffic) to your drive to Santa Barbara. If you choose to fly into LAX, the drive north to Santa Barbara is approximately 2-3 hours. LAX does offer shuttle services to Santa Barbara if you did not want to rent a car.
