Matron of Honor
Cayleigh and Laura met freshman year of college at Florida State University and were roommates for 3 years. While Laura had a habit of disappearing with the apartment cups and Cayleigh's precious donuts, she also inspired much growth in Cayleigh's walk with the Lord. Laura and her husband moved to Wilmington, NC the same summer Cayleigh moved to Raleigh. What a sweet blessing it has been to grow closer after school and for Cayleigh to help welcome Laura's 3 kids.

Cayleigh and Stacey grew up a few streets away from each other and became good friends in high school. When Cayleigh asked her friends in 2019, "anyone want to move out-of-state for a year-long clinical residency adventure?!" Stacey was the friend who said "yes!" Well, one year turned into six and it really has been a Raleigh roommate adventure full of concerts, late night chats, weekend girls' trips, and life celebrations.

Kristen and Cayleigh became friends senior year of college at Florida State University. It was a friendship of book discussion, listening to depressing music, and eating leftover bakery treats. During grad school, Cayleigh visited Kristen while she was living in Costa Rica, then began visiting NC when Kristen and her husband moved to Raleigh. In 2020, Cayleigh joined them in Raleigh and this sweet friendship has continued to grow, and now includes Kristen's 2 daughters.

Cayleigh and Megan became friends through their church's community group. Megan welcomed Cayleigh with open arms in 2020, making her feel very welcome in Raleigh. They've become good friends over the years with a shared love of the Lord, good food, and LOTR marathons at Christmas. Megan has become a staple at the Reeder Raleigh Thanksgivings for the last 3 years, always with sparkling cider in hand!

Amanda is Kevin's sister, who has enthusiastically welcomed Cayleigh into the Betsch family. In the short time they've known each other, Cayleigh has come to learn of Amanda's deep love for the Lord, amazing giftedness as an elementary school teacher, and to experience her as a curious mind and warm heart. She introduced Cayleigh to the now-beloved board game Wingspan (see registry), as well as how to make homemade sushi. What a joy to know there are many more years of friendship ahead!
Best Man
Joseph was Kevin’s neighbor and very first friend coming back from Indonesia in '05. Whether it was dominating the woods of Waxhaw in Airsoft, staying up late playing Speed Kings on the PS2, or driving 20h nonstop for a friend's wedding in KS, Joseph has been a faithful and true friend. Joseph has been a major influence in Kevin’s walk with the Lord, and has to this day, remained one of Kevin’s closest friends!
Groomsman
Andre Jose Benitez and Kevin met in middle school youth group and kindled a friendship that eventually led to them becoming college roommates at Liberty University. AJ has always been a giver of sage advice and fellow lover of the band Switchfoot. Kevin has fond memories of watching movies in their dorm and having in-depth theology discussions.
Groomsman
Bri-Bri, little buddy, bringaling.... are not names Kevin has used to describe Brian. Instead, names like: brother, great father, and fearless are truer descriptors. Whether it was "sleepovers" as kids, playing some epic disc golf, or how to wrangle a snake, Brian has always encouraged Kevin to be his best at whatever he does! “I know he always has my back and I his.”
Groomsman
Raymond and Kevin go back to freshman year at Liberty, same floor, and same distinct laugh! It's been said that you could tell they were both present in a crowded room, even if they were 100 yards away. You could catch Ray and Kevin in the gym at the "Lake" (A.K.A. the row machines) and chillin’ in the commons. Ray remains one of Kevin’s closest friends and even though they don't go to the "lake" anymore, he is still Kevin’s go-to guy for all outdoor activities and all around good times!

There is a photo of two babies on sitting on a beach - those kids were Kevin and Nathan. Literally the first friend Kevin made, Nathan has been a faithful friend and a litmus test for whether or not something is stylistically relevant. Some of Kevin's favorite memories with Nathan include grueling high school soccer practice, building forts in the woods, and working a summer job as chimney "specialists"!
