During his retirement ceremony, Catherine's mom, Grace, made a public announcement: "We're moving to Arizona in a couple of days so I will ask for the last time, 'Does anyone know anyone who can date my daughter?'" Bruce's co-worker, Bryan Stickney, Stick, piped up and said, "I might know someone!" Stick gave Catherine Kevin's number, they went on a date, and they've been inseparable since.
