Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail or floor length dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. Please do not wear white.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Our wedding is in April, which is a transitional month in the Philadelphia area. Our best advice is to be prepared for the cold. However, our ceremony and reception are indoor, therefore wear the outerwear of your comfort or choosing.

Cocktail hour and the reception will be starting at 5:30pm.

Our theme is timeless and traditional so just focus on enjoying yourself!

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP 'NO' so we can plan accordingly. If you find you are unable to attend the week of the wedding please contact either MOB Bernadette Anderson 215-255-5232 or MOG Ellen Leahy 510-384-8463 for further details, the Bride and Groom will be extremely busy this week and we may be unable to respond to you accordingly.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Please see the 'Schedule' portion of our website for the addresses needed and use GPS. Both locations are in well populated areas with plenty of access to major roads, therefore there should not be difficulty finding where you need to go.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is free parking in two large parking lots. There will be no valet parking. You are responsible for your vehicle and the belongings inside of it. Please park between the lines and be courteous to others who are parking.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If your invitation does not have 'Your name' and 'Guest' on it, then no you cannot bring a guest.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

After receiving your invitation you RSVP here on our website as well as choose what meal you would like to eat. Please RSVP by March 15th 2022. If you have not submitted your RSVP to the website by 9:00pm/EST then we will presume you are not coming and will greatly miss you. There are no exceptions to this as meal preparations and arrangements must be made.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, both locations have wheelchair accessibility.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options?

Answer

On our invitations there will be dinner choices available. If you have a food allergy or a specific diet to adhere to, please write it on your RSVP. We will do our best to accommodate diet options. The reception will be completely NUT FREE.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

No. You are responsible for your own transportation.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

No you may not. Please respect this decision. Thank you.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels, our only requests are: 1. Tag us in each photo so that we are able to find it later. 2. Please do NOT take pictures during the ceremony, often cell phones and people taking pictures end up blocking the photographer and ruining shots. We greatly appreciate your compliance.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Ceremony starts at 5:00pm sharp! Please arrive a few minutes ahead of time to ensure that you are seated and ready for the ceremony to begin.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults only, 21 years of age or older, so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. The only children permitted at the wedding is the flower girl and ring bearer. Anyone under the age of 21 or not named on the invitation is not permitted. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
