Semi-formal attire recommended. Marble Room occupies a grand old bank location in a beautiful marble lobby with high ceilings. Dining at Marble Room is often booked, but they accept walk-ins for the bar area and cocktail area. If you are looking for an elevated experience in a unique location, we recommend visiting Marble Room. The bride loves to order the Seafood Tasting here with the Man of Honor!
A favorite of Kevin and Carolyn! Noble Beast does not take reservations, but is a great place to grab a sandwich and a beer. Our personal favorite? The veggie sandwich. Don't knock it til you try it, it's been on the menu since they opened. We also recommend the wings with a special request for the Funyun seasoning. They usually keep this on hand for staff and OG's like us who love them, but you have to request it off menu!
Another favorite for Kevin and Carolyn- but especially Kevin! This brewery specializes in New England IPA style beers. They serve pizza from an il forno oven that they imported from Italy. Casual attire. Outdoor seating available. The week of our wedding, their pumpkin beers will be in full swing!
We went here on our very first date and had our first kiss nearby! Barrio is a casual environment offering tacos that you can either build yourself or select from a suggested list. If you're in the mood for tacos, stop by Barrio. Outside seating available.
If you choose to visit the Rock Hall, we do NOT recommend the Nuevo restaurant nearby.
If you are in the mood for a dive bar vibe, look no further. City Tap was a favorite haunt of the Bride and Groom when while living on East 4th. Huge beer list and good bar food. Super casual.
The West Side Market is a Cleveland institution. A short drive (or a longer walk/scooter ride) over the Carnegie Bridge, the West Side Market has offered a variety of market and food vendors for over 100 years. If you venture over to West Side Market, grab a coffee across the street at Edda and enjoy West 25th, which has a stretch of bars and restaurants.
Great local bar in the Hingetown neighborhood. They serve pierogi! You can pick records to play or use the namesake Jukebox.
A great coffee shop in Hingetown located in an old firehouse. On the weekends, you can also stop next door at Larder Delicatessen and Bakery, which has picked up James Beard nominations for the last 3 years.
Located on East 4th street, this spot has the best sushi in Cleveland, in our humble opinion.
For anyone looking for a good walk with views, this is a straight shot down East 9th St. from The 9 toward Lake Erie. You’ll be able to view the lake as well as a Cleveland sign (photo op) and the Rock Hall.
Dim Sum. Authentic where they bring carts around and you pick items. This is in an Asian plaza in Cleveland’s Asia town. Must Uber here! The best time to arrive for the best dim sum is 10:45/11am
A breakfast/ brunch spot that has been very popular. While we haven’t been here, plenty of friends have (including the man of honor) and have given it high marks. This one requires a short Uber ride.
Restore is right around the corner from the 9 (in the direction of progressive field, then turn left at Huron) and this spot has great smoothies, smoothie bowls, juices and avocado toast. Great option if you’re looking for something quick and healthy.
