Kevin and Billy started talking in early 2018. Billy soon after flew to Houston, TX for his last pharmacy rotation. However, six weeks of texting and FaceTiming paid off. Soon after returning home, Kevin and Billy went on their official first date. It was a night beginning at Eleventh Hour Brewing, followed by dinner at Piccolo Forno. Now together over four years later, the rest is history.

Picture it - a sunny Saturday morning in August 2021. Kevin wanted to go to Costco; Billy had other plans. The day started out where it all began on their first date - Eleventh Hour Brewing, followed by lunch at Piccolo Forno. After lunch, they made their way to Flagstaff Hill in Schenley Park and sat on a sheet to overlook Oakland. This is where they like to take Jack, June & Albus on pretty days during the summer months. After Flagstaff Hill, they walked through the summer exhibit at Phipps Conservatory. At this point, Kevin was suspicious. They then made their way to Allegheny City Brewing for a quick drink. They then took a walk through Allegheny Commons, where Billy proposed to Kevin on a bridge with a view of downtown Pittsburgh. After a few tears shed by both of them, Kevin said yes. To end the day, they had a romantic dinner at Hyde Park Steakhouse.
