Although some of San Pedro’s key attractions—such as Chipinque and Planetario Alfa—are best visited during the day, San Pedro really comes to life in the late afternoon and evening when the bars and restaurants in El Centrito open. Expect the largest crowds over weekends and holidays.

Beautiful building first built in 1787 as Bishop Fray Rafael Jose Verger's retirement home; now houses a Regional History Museum delineating Nuevo Leon's complex history. Continue up the hill past the museum to the conservatory overlooking the entire city.
Come to the countryside for a short drive up the mountain to Cola de Caballo (Spanish, 'Horse Tail') waterfall about 25 m (25 mi), in Villa de Santiago, Nuevo León. It is open to the public and is accessible via a walking path, with a park that has food, drinks, and other activities. Great for kids!
Santiago is one of mexico's "pueblo magicos" (enchanted towns). This curch is located on Santiago's tourist plaza, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and local vendors. During the month of our wedding, the church will be decorated as a huge day of the dead altar. The church also has an observatory on the back end that oversees the 'presa la boca'. There is also a market all weekend long selling local and artisanal items and street churros, drinks, and more!!
