Best Man
Aidan is Kevin’s best friend since 2001 and is basically Kevin’s brother from another mother. They lived on the same street in junior high and quickly became friends through their love for sports when they were younger. Kevin and Aidan have always tried to keep in touch as they went through different seasons of life. Aidan has always sharpened Kevin’s desire to become a better person every day, and Kevin wouldn’t be the person he is today without him.
Dilan Freeman
Groomsman
Dilan and Kevin have been friends since 2005 when they met through a mutual friend in high school advisory class. They continued to be friends in high school by playing football and taking a high school workshop class together. Eventually, Dilan invited Kevin to his home church, Bay Harbour Church, where Kevin joined the youth group and they have made many memories together ever since. Kevin has always considered Dilan to be the most selfless friend he has, and he has always appreciated Dilan throughout their friendship together.
Jaycob Freeman
Groomsman
Being Dilan’s brother and being involved in the Bay Harbour youth group as well, Kevin and Jaycob soon started hanging out a lot. Their mutual interest of church, sports, and food helped them quickly become great friends. Kevin has always admired Jaycob’s faith, and growing up together has encouraged Kevin to grow in his own faith walk. Kevin is really thankful to have Jaycob as a source of encouragement and accountability as they continue this journey with Christ.
Tucker
Dog of Honor
Chill, calm (most of the time), and quite lovable...Tucker has been there the last three and a half years of Ashley & Kevin's relationship. Kevin often laughingly jokes that he's really only in the relationship for his buddy Tucker. (He's joking.) Bottom line: They can't say "I do" without their doggo's help!
Cody Boyes

Kevin met Cody when he was a wee youth in the youth program at Bay Harbour Church, and they quickly bonded through their similar interest, personality, and humor. Kevin has enjoyed their mentor/mentee relationship throughout the years and will cherish their friendship as they grow older.
Daxton Thibodeaux
Usher
Dax was Kevin's Confirmand/mentee in the 2018 Confirmation Class at Bay Harbour Church. Both are similar in personality, and it was special to Kevin to be there for Dax as Dax furthered his faith journey to understand Jesus better. The two continued to bond the past few years over basketball by either Kevin dropping by to crash Junior High Bible study at Dax’s house or Dax coming to Sunday night hangouts at church. Kevin is looking forward to continuing to be a part of Dax’s life and his journey with Christ as he grows older.
Owen Thibodaux

Owen was a part of Ashley's first youth group at Bay Harbour. Over the years, Kevin has watched Owen grow in Jesus, and they have continued to grow a friendship through basketball, video games, and mission work. Kevin and Owen bonded in Colombia when they went on a mission trip together to Medellín in 2018. Owen and his family have been a big part of Ashley's and Kevin's lives.
Pastor Chris Cooksey

Compassionate, funny, and a great teacher, Pastor Chris Cooksey is doing the honor of marrying Ashley and Kevin. Ashley worked with Chris at Bay Harbour Church before he accepted a position as Pastor at Old Riverview Terrace United Methodist Church in Channelview, Texas. During his time in League City, Chris got to know Ashley and Kevin well while they were dating. They have always admired Pastor Chris for his humor, his genuine love and kindness, and how well he models Christ. Thank you Pastor Chris!

Ashley's six year old 2nd-cousin Joey will be a part of the ring security and will walk down the aisle with the Dog of Honor, Tucker! Joey enjoys playing outside and riding his bike. He also loves science shows and projects, enjoys playing with his paw patrol toys, playing board games, and even being artistic like drawing and painting!

Ashley's fun, outgoing brother-in-law is going to bring the flower power to the ceremony! Nate married Ashley's sister, Kelsey, in May 2019. He enjoys competitive games with Ashley and Kevin, and he will most definitely be a great future "FUNcle" (a.k.a fun uncle).

Ashley found her mister but can’t say “I do” without her SISTER! From the same childhood family, to joining the same Aggie family in college, to starting their own families in the future, Ashley is grateful to have a forever sister to share life with. Kevin and Ashley’s favorite moments have often been hanging out with Kelsey and her husband, Nate and their two corgis, Beaux and Bonnie.

Ashley's best friend since college at Texas A&M. They met and served in Ags For Orphans together and went to Haiti together with Coreluv International in 2014. They share a passion to defend the orphan, for mission work, and for adoption! Melissa is one of Ashley's longest friends that continuously pushes her to chase her dreams and to chase even harder after Jesus! Ashley is forever grateful for Melissa and knows through life's highs and lows, Melissa will be there with her through it all.

Having met through Bay Harbour Church and SEVERAL mutual friends (including her brother Cody Boyes, past roommate Leah Whitmarsh, being a youth group-mate with Kevin, and married to Kevin’s best man, Aidan John) it was inevitable that Courtney and Ashley would meet and start a great friendship! Turns out, they tend to match in style, quirks, and personality! Kinda crazy. Kevin’s and Ashley’s favorite trip so far was in October 2019 when they got to visit her and Aidan in Washington! Ashley is grateful that no matter the distance, Courtney has been there for her via phone call or in person cheering her and Kevin on from the start. Ashley is looking forward to many great memories as friends in the future!

Ashley and Lauren met on Ashley's visit to Bay Harbour Church in 2017 when they bonded over sharing a "swaying" worship style in church service. Once Ashley was officially hired, they "clicked" when they attended a mission trip to Haiti in 2017. Ever since then, Lauren has faithfully stuck by Ashley and their friendship has grown ever since. Sharing both life's hard and sweet moments has been one of Ashley's favorite things about their friendship. She can always count on Lauren to lend a helping hand, speak an encouraging word, or show up to share a crying shoulder or laughter session. Lauren is one of the truest, love-unconditionally friends you can find out there.
Rachel Rowland

Rachel is Ashley’s friend and past roommate in League City, TX who came into her life at a crucial time. Ashley and Tucker were living by themselves for two years (which was hard) when Rachel invited them to live with her and her Great Dane-mix, Rhea. Not only that, but Rachel has been a huge source of encouragement and support for Ashley when she went through a difficult transition from League City to Boerne, TX. Ashley has always admired Rachel for her kind heart for others (especially for her ASL students at Clear Falls High School!), and has been grateful for her faith in Jesus that inspired many conversations that has pointed her back to Jesus and the Truth. Ashley is forever grateful for Rachel and her doggo Rhea!

Both are passionate about growing and loving on the younger generation (Cara with littles and Ashley with older students), and have a mutual interest in diving deeper into theology and the Bible. From holidays, birthdays, student ministry events, and even helping Ashley move to a new town, Cara has been a wonderful friend Ashley is grateful to have no matter the distance.

Kayla has so many amazing gifts and talents (academically, musically, and athletically!), and her humble and kind spirit continues to give God all the glory for her achievements!
